Bassetts Announce New Charity Partner

Plumbing, heating and bathrooms merchant Bassetts have announced they will support Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND) as its chosen charity of the year.

Motor neurone disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. It is currently incurable and can lead to complete paralysis. The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to supporting people with MND, their families and carers.

Bassetts Managing Director, Neil Collins, said: “We are proud to support such a worthwhile charity that does so much to help people living with this debilitating disease. We hope our support will benefit as many people as possible.”

Bassetts has a network of over 16 branches across Northern Ireland and a team of over 165 employees. Bassetts are committed to making a difference in the communities in which they operate and are delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile cause.

Stephen Thompson, Branch Chairman at MND, commented ‘This latest collaboration with Bassetts is yet another fantastic way to raise funds, and we are honoured to have been chosen as their charity of the year. This is a huge help to the team, both in terms of fundraising and supporting the services we work so hard to provide’

Follow the team on social media as they embark on their fundraising journey.   Every penny Bassetts raise will make a difference to people with MND and their families.
